Our storefront is accessed through the 3rd Street Parking Lot. Look for the Bakersfield Women's Center sign, the blue security cage, and the butterflies painted on the front.

Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Donation Drop-Off Hours
Tuesday – Friday, Noon – 3:00 PM
Please call when you arrive and someone will come out to meet you.
Driving Directions
- Head south on Union Ave
- When you reach 3rd Street, turn right
- Take the next right into the parking lot
- The Bakersfield Women's Center will be directly in front of you — look for the blue cage and butterfly mural

A Place of Safety
A Place of Safety, Dignity, and Hope
Many women facing exploitation, abuse, homelessness, or crisis need more than a phone number. They need a safe place to walk into. A place where they can sit down, eat, breathe, be seen, and be treated with dignity.
The Bakersfield Women's Center was created to be that place.
For some women, the center may be the first step toward safety. For others, it may be a place to receive support, prayer, counseling, clothing, or a meal.
You are loved. You are not forgotten. There is hope.
We are proud to open the doors to a space dedicated to helping women reclaim their lives and discover their potential.
